Metro West Membership & CEU Credit Non-members may attend up to two Metro West seminars at no charge. After two seminars, non-members are required to pay $25 per seminar to receive CEU credit. We encourage regular attendees to become Metro West members.

2021 IBC Updates: What Building Officials Need to Know

 Join us for an informative review of the 2021 International Building Code (IBC) updates and what they mean for today’s building officials, inspectors, and code professionals. This seminar will highlight significant changes from the previous code cycle, with an emphasis on practical application, common areas of confusion, and how the updates may affect plan review, inspections, and code administration.

Josh Harmon is an experienced building code and government program professional with more than 20 years of experience in code enforcement, program administration, education, and professional development. He holds multiple International Code Council (ICC) certifications and designations, including credentials focused on building code administration and sustainability.

Josh brings extensive experience in code implementation, program development, technology, and professional education. His practical perspective and understanding of the challenges faced by building officials make him a valuable resource for navigating code changes and applying them effectively in the field.
